FAQ’s

  • As a nutritionist I can help you with healthy eating, sports performance, and lifestyle advice.  I can’t diagnose, treat clinical conditions, or give prescriptive plans – this would need to be done by a registered dietician.

The title ‘Nutritionist’ is not a protected title, so you need to do your homework when finding someone.

  • This is a short 10-15 minute phone call for you to ask me any questions or to get more of a feel for who I am and how I can help, before you commit to booking an appointment.  It’s free of charge and comes with no obligation. Click here to book your call

  • For a current price list and terms, please request these using via my Contact Me page.

  • I’m based online mainly, with some limited availability for in-person clinics in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

  • I will send a pre-consultation form to you by email ahead of your appointment that you will need to complete (please let me know if you have any accessibility needs).  I might ask you to complete a food journal before your appointment depending on the content of your online form.  I will also invite you to share any relevant and recent test results with me if you have them – such as cholesterol levels, blood pressure, or your HbA1C, but these are not essential.

  • When you book you receive a pre-consultation form that sets the scene.  Then, in your consultation, we explore where you are now, and what to do next.  There will be a lot of opportunity to ask questions, and together we work out a plan. All of the key points are summarised for you in a document afterwards which is normally available a few days after the appointment.

  • Bring a drink and wear something comfy.  Make a note of any questions you want to ask to bring with you and either your phone or a pad and pen in case there are some notes you want to jot down.

  • There will be no judgement - I want help.  There’s not a lot I haven’t already seen or heard when it comes to food and nutrition.  And I’m not going to try to make you eat things you don’t like, either.

  • Consultations usually last up to 75 minutes.  Follow up appointments can be either 25 or 45 minutes.

  • I accept online transfers and online card payments.  Invoices are sent out to you ahead of your appointment and contain the information you need including payment links.

  • Yes, I can support you if you are trying to get pregnant, are pregnant, or have recently been pregnant. There is a screening process we need to go through first to make sure the support I offer is going to right for you and your baby, so please be sure to mention this when you first get in touch with me.

  • This depends on a lot of different things.  If you would like meal planning to be a part of the service that you receive from me please mention this when booking so that I can go through options with you in advance.  There is usually and additional fee for this service that depends on the level of programming that you require.

  • It’s up to you.  Some of my clients like to work with calories and others don’t.  I can help in either situation.
