Nutrition advice for health, sport and performance

Leah Rose BSc (hons) MN.Nutr is an MNU nutrition consultant with a diploma in advanced nutrition science

Welcome!

I offer a personalised and evidence-based nutrition service, and specialise in the areas of sport, health, and menopause.

If you’re looking for information about diet and nutrition that is clear-cut and grounded in science, I can help. Including support for habit and behaviour change, and with a track record of results, my approach is patient-centred, which means it is totally focused on you.

Challenges you may be facing:

Health

  • Confusion and anxiety around nutrition and food choices

  • Weight loss including how to lose weight and sustain the results, and how to transition off weight-loss drugs like Ozempic or Wegovy

  • How to improve your HbA1C blood glucose levels, type 2 diabetes, cholesterol or blood pressure

  • Nutrition for female health including perimenopause, menopause, and PCOS

Sport

  • Strength and muscle gain

  • Programming for training, events, and recovery

  • Energy availability, fitness and endurance

Performance

  • Sustained energy levels and overall wellbeing

  • Sharp thinking and reduced ‘brain fog’

  • Nutrition for travelling or in the workplace

The support you need, when you need it

I can provide the information you need, help you apply it to your health and performance goals, and give you the tools you need to help you along the way.

  • Identify small changes with big impact, from as early as your first session

  • Apply evidence-based nutrition in a practical and effective way

  • Provide education, information and advice that empowers you to make confident choices

  • A reliable point of contact for any queries as they arise

  • Work closely with other professionals like GPs, personal trainers, and coaches if you would like me to

You’re in control

I don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach. In your discovery call, we can start to build a package to suit your requirements.

  • Dietary analysis, supplement advice, and recommendations for hydration

  • Macro and calorie targets

  • Meal planning

  • Accountability and support including follow-up appointments and email

  • Programming for time-specific goals and events

  • Various monitoring metrics including ISAK Skinfold testing if appropriate

  • Resources and written reports

About Me

Before I became a qualified nutritionist I struggled to find reliable, practical advice in three key areas: sport and exercise, female health and menopause, and insulin resistance or blood glucose control.

That personal experience drove me to pursue a qualification in advanced nutrition science, which I did with MNU, and I founded Leah Rose Nutrition in 2020.

Before then I was owner and manager of a private healthcare clinic in Gloucester that specialised in sports injury and back pain.

Now, based in Cirencester with easy access from Cheltenham, Stroud and Swindon, I enjoy helping people access reliable information about food, diet, and healthy eating, for long-term and effective results.

My services are available one-to-one online and in-person, and I run talks at various locations.
