Evidence-Based Nutritionist in Cirencester

Before becoming a fully qualified nutritionist I struggled to find reliable, practical advice — especially in three key areas: hormone health, training for performance, and managing insulin resistance. There was so much noise and conflicting information, and not enough support that actually made sense for real life.

That frustration pushed me to dive into the science. I studied evidence-based nutrition, earned a Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Nutrition Science with MNU, and launched Leah Rose Nutrition in 2020 here in Cirencester.

At the time, I was in my early 40s, raising two teenagers, recovering from surgery, and navigating menopause. I understand what it’s like to want to feel better, have more energy, improve your health, and take control — but not know where to begin in a world of conflicting advice.

Originally from Cheltenham, I now live in Cirencester – the heart of the Cotswolds – with my two teenage sons. I’m a big fan of resistance training, which has been a big part of my life for many years. Like nutrition, it’s an anchor that keeps me grounded. Outside of the gym you’ll find me outdoors. I love to walk and run the nearby countryside of the Stroud Valleys.

I always have my head in a book, or a podcast on in my ears - my love of learning is strong!

Now, I work with a wide range of clients, but my special interests in female health, performance nutrition, and better health form the main three pillars of my business.
